CUSTOMER is an online pharmacy providing Medical organizations with a low cost means of providing consistent pharmaceutical services to their patients.
History
Customer’s online pharmacy allows for the delivery of prescriptions from Medical organizations to a small network of pharmacies spread across the United States, which in turn deliver medicines to patients on basis of their proximity. Customer not only processes prescriptions, but also interacts with patients and health insurers for billings.
Situation Presented to Qatalys
Customer’s existing legacy system needs to be replaced to allow for a wide range of providers (pharmacies) from various locations. The new system should allow for the seamless writing, approving, denying, up-dating of prescriptions from anywhere and anytime using a single log on credential.
Customer also needs this system to allow multiple prescriptions in a single entry, searching and adding patients, updating patient-profiles in terms of general and billing info, maintaining Medical Attendance Records (MAR) and Routing Medication Records (PRN), integrating the Stamps (delivery) service, and the Rx30 billing data in order to bill and track each transaction with much more flexibility.
An inbuilt reporting mechanism available to Providers, hospital staffs, pharmacy employees, Accounts Manager, Pharmacy Manager, and Administrator in an online and dynamic basis, and the option to export data to Excel would be needed to make this system user-friendly too.
